مقدمه: در مورد سبب شناسی اعتیاد اخیرا به زیربناهای شناختی توجه ویژه ای شده است با توجه به این زیربناها پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین رابطهی طرحوارههای ناسازگار اولیه و باورهای فراشناخت با استعداد اعتیاد انجام گرفت. روش کار: برای این پژوهش توصیفی مقطعی از بین دانشآموزان دبیرستانهای شهر کرمانشاه که در سال تحصیلی 92-1391 مشغول به تحصیل بودند، به روش نمونهگیری خوشه ای چندمرحله ای نمونهای به حجم300 نفر انتخاب شدند (180 دختر و 120 پسر). برای گردآوری دادههای پژوهش از پرسشنامههای باورهای فراشناخت ولز، طرحوارههای اولیهی یانگ و مقیاس استعداد اعتیاد استفاده شد. برای تحلیل دادههای پژوهش از آزمونهای ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و تحلیل رگرسیون با نرمافزار آماریSPSS نسخهی 19 استفاده شد. یافته ها: بین خردهمقیاسهای خودآگاهی شناختی، باورهای منفی در مورد کنترلناپذیری افکار، باورهایی در مورد نیاز به افکارکنترل و اعتماد شناختی با استعداد اعتیاد، رابطهی مثبت معنیداری وجود دارد (001/0=P) اما بین خردهمقیاس باورهای مثبت در مورد نگرانی واستعداد اعتیاد، رابطهی معنیداری وجود ندارد. همچنین بین طرحوارههای ناسازگار اولیه و استعداد اعتیاد، رابطهی مثبت معنیداری به دست آمد (001/0=P). نتیجه گیری: با توجه به ارتباط مثبت بین باورهای فراشناخت و طرحوارههای ناسازگار اولیه در افزایش استعداد اعتیاد، مشاوران و روانشناسان میتوانند این مطلب را مد نظر قرار دهند.
