مقدمه: در محیطهای تحصیلی و کاری متنوع قرن حاضر، لازم است استرسهای ناشی از شوک فرهنگی و اختلالات و پیامدهای ناشی از تعارضات فرهنگی به نحو مطلوب اداره شود. از این رو هوش فرهنگی به طور فزایندهای در دنیای رقابتی امروز اهمیت یافته است. هدف از این پژوهش، بررسی تاثیر میزان هوشفرهنگی بر بهبود مهارتهای ارتباطی دانشجویان است. روشکار: در این تحقیق پیمایشی جامعه آماری شامل دانشجویان دانشگاههای آزاد اسلامی خراسان رضوی است که در سال تحصیلی 92-1391 مشغول تحصیل بوده و تعداد آنها حدود 8259 نفر میباشد. در این تحقیق، با شیوه نمونهگیری مرحلهای از بین دانشگاههای خراسان رضوی، دانشگاههای شهرهای مشهد، قوچان، تربت حیدریه، تربت جام و کاشمر، انتخاب شدند و از بین دانشجویان تحصیلات تکمیلی شهرهای مذکور، به روش طبقهای متناسب با حجم، حجم نمونه 370 نفر در نظر گرفته شد. ابزار پژوهش شامل پرسشنامه هوش فرهنگی بود و تحلیل آماری با استفاده از نرمافزار SPSS و آزمونهای کولموگروف-اسمیرنوف و همبستگی اسپیرمن انجام شد. یافتهها: هوش فرهنگی دانشجویان بر مهارتهای ارتباطی آنها، مهارتهای کلامی، شنود و بازخورد، تاثیر معنیدار دارد (001/0>P). نتیجهگیری: نتایج پژوهش حاضر نشان داد که هوش فرهنگی دانشجویان بر مهارتهای ارتباطی آنها، موثر است.
