چکیده

مقدمه: خودکشی، یک مسئله مهم جهانی در حوزه سلامت و اجتماع، با فراوانی فزاینده‌ای در بین جمعیت‌های آسیب‌پذیر از نظر اقتصادی بروز می‌کند. تاکنون، مهم‌ترین عامل در مسئله خودکشی، پزشکی و به ویژه مدل روانپزشکی است، جامعه‌شناسی و اقتصاد نیز سهم مهمی در این موضوع دارند. عواملی مانند وضعیت اقتصادی-اجتماعی پایین و بیکاری به عنوان عوامل خطر مهم برای رفتارهای خودکشی شناسایی شده‌اند. این مطالعه خودکشی مرتبط با کار در ایران را با تمرکز بر کارگران و بازنشستگانی که با مشکلات اقتصادی روبرو هستند، بررسی کرد.
روش‌ کار: ما عواملی مانند بیکاری، ناامنی شغلی و بی‌ثباتی اقتصادی را که در رفتار خودکشی در بین این گروه‌ها نقش دارند، تجزیه و تحلیل کردیم.
نتایج: تحقیقات قبلی نشان می‌دهد که فشارهای اقتصادی، همراه با حمایت ناکافی از سلامت روان، خطر خودکشی را افزایش می‌دهد. اخبار رسیده از ایران، روندهای نگران‌کننده‌ای را نشان می‌دهد، از جمله افزایش خودکشی در بین کارگران اخراج شده و تحت فشار مالی در چندین استان، که منعکس کننده یک بحران اجتماعی-اقتصادی گسترده‌تر است.
نتیجه‌گیری: یافته‌ها بر نیاز فوری به راهبردهای مداخله‌ای جامع، از جمله اصلاحات در محل کار، آموزش سلامت روان برای کارمندان و سیستم‌های پشتیبانی مالی قابل دسترس، تأکید می‌کنند. توصیه‌هایی برای سیاست‌گذاران و ارائه‌دهندگان خدمات بهداشتی ارائه شده است که بر اقدامات پیشگیرانه‌ای که عوامل استرس‌زای اقتصادی و روانی-اجتماعی را در محیط‌های کاری مورد توجه قرار می‌دهند، تأکید دارد.
