بررسی ارتباط بین مولفه‌های شخصیتی و راهبردهای‌ مقابله‌ای با مصرف سیگار در دانشجویان مهندسی

چکیده

مقدمه:مصرف سیگار متاثر از تعامل عوامل زیست‌شناسی، اجتماعی، روان‌شناختی و فرهنگی بوده و میزان بالای هم‌بودی آن با برخی مولفه‌های شخصیتی و راهبردهای مقابله‌ای در سبب‌شناسی، مورد تاکید است. این پژوهش به بررسی مقایسه‌ای ارتباط بین مصرف سیگار، مولفه‌های شخصیتی و راهبرد‌های مقابله‌ای در دانشجویان سیگاری و غیر سیگاری دانشکده‌ی فنی و مهندسی دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی و دانشگاه علوم پزشکی اراک پرداخته است.
روش‌کار: این پژوهش توصیفی-تحلیلی به صورت مقطعی با نمونه‌گیری تصادفی طبقه‌ای بر روی 716 نفر از دانشجویان زن و مرد مشغول به تحصیل در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی (323 نفر) و دانشکده‌ی فنی و مهندسی دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی (393 نفر) واحد اراک در سال تحصیلی 90-1389 اجرا شده است. ابزارها شامل چک‌لیست مشخصات جمعیت‌شناختی محقق‌ساخته، پرسش‌نامه‌ی راهبردهای مقابله‌ای (لازاروس و فولکمن) و آزمون شخصیتی نئو-فرم کوتاه بودند. اطلاعات با روش‌های آماری تحلیل واریانس چندمتغیره، تحلیل همبستگی و نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه‌ی 18 تحلیل شدند.
یافته‌ها:بین مولفه‌ی روان‌رنجورخویی (001/0=P، 146/0- =r) و توافق (001/0=Pو159/0=r) با سبک مقابله‌ای مسئله‌مدار و مولفه‌ی برون‌گرایی (001/0=Pو 127/0- =r) و توافق (001/0=P، 137/0- =r) با سبک مقابله‌ای عاطفه‌مدار، تفاوت معنی‌داری وجود دارد اما بین مصرف سیگار و مولفه‌های شخصیتی با وجود تفاوت بین میانگین‌ دو گروه، تفاوت معنی‌داری مشاهده نشد. علاوه بر این بین میانگین مصرف سیگار و استفاده از راهبرد مقابله‌ای عاطفه‌مدار، تفاوت معنی‌داری مشهود است (01/0P<).
نتیجه‌گیری:افراد سیگاری از کمبود مهارت‌های مقابله‌ای مناسب در حل مشکلات رنج می‌برند. هم‌چنین، سیگاری بودن مردان در بالا بودن میزان عصبیت و اضطراب آنان، نقشی ندارد.
