Introduction & Objective: The rights of psychiatric patients in our country have not been considered. Because people with mental disorders constitute the vulnerable community, defending the rights of these patients and providing them with the necessary knowledge and knowledge about their rights is necessary. The need for regulating the legal scope of psychiatric patients in the country is becoming increasingly evident. The aim of this study is to develop a charter of the rights of psychiatric patients in Iran.
Materials and Methods: This research is based on the purpose of the research. It is a qualitative research in terms of data collection. In the present study, the first phase of the literature review and the second phase of the Delphi technique have been used. Therefore, it has been referred to different sites for the formulation of a framework for the drafting of the charter of the rights of psychiatric patients. The main points of the charter of the rights of patients from Iran issued by the Ministry of Health are five main axes.
