Journal of Fundamentals of Mental Health is a peer-reviewed, bimonthly and English publication of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS), Mashhad, Iran. The journal is published under supervision of the psychiatric department of the University in the fields of psychiatry, psychology, mental health and behavioral sciences. This journal is approved by ‘Medical Journals of ministry of health and medical education of Iran. The journal has been published in English since 2015. 

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
