These diseases are associated with dysfunction of various organs of the body. This study aimed to evaluate anxiety and depression in adolescents with abnormal body mass index with normal population. Materials and Methods: This is the case-control study conducted on adolescents in Birjand. To determine the level of anxiety, Tzanck self-evaluation scale anxiety and to evaluate depression, kids and adolescents depression inventory were used. Data analyzed through SPSS software version 15 and statistical tests, chi-square, Fisher's exact test and independent t-test. Results:A total of 204 adolescents were enrolled. There is significant difference in mean score of anxiety was observed in obese children and overweight with normal mean of anxiety in adolescents overweight and obese was significantly higher than normal adolescents (P<0.001). There is significant difference in mean depression score was observed in obese children and overweight with normal mean of anxiety in adolescents overweight and obese was significantly higher than normal teenagers (P<0.001). Conclusion: The results of this study have been shown that anxiety and depression have a significant relation with abnormality in body mass index and this abnormality can impact adolescents' depression and anxiety.}, keywords = {Adolescents,Anxiety,Body mass index,Depression}, title_fa = {بررسی مقایسه‌ای اضطراب و افسردگی در نوجوانان با اختلال شاخص توده‌ی بدنی و نوجوانان طبیعی}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: در سال‌های اخیر بیماری‌های غیر واگیر هم‌چون چاقی سهم عمده‌ای در بیماری‌ها و مرگ و میر جوامع بشری داشته‌اند. این بیماری‌ها با اختلال عملکرد دستگاه‌های مختلف بدن همراهی دارند. این مطالعه به‌منظور بررسی مشکلات روانی مانند اضطراب و افسردگی در نوجوانان چاق و دارای اضافه وزن در مقایسه با نوجوانان طبیعی انجام گردید.روش‌کار: این پژوهش تحلیلی مورد- شاهدی بر روی نوجوانان شهر بیرجند انجام پذیرفت. جهت تعیین میزان اضطراب در افراد مورد مطالعه از مقیاس خودسنجی اضطراب زانک و جهت سنجش میزان افسردگی از شاخص‌های افسردگی کودکان و نوجوانان استفاده شد. در این پژوهش داده‌ها پس از جمع‌آوری در نرم افزار SPSS نسخه‌ی 15 وارد و با آزمون‌های آماری مجذور خی، آزمون دقیق فیشر و تی مستقل تحلیل گردیدند. یافته‌ها: تعداد 204 نوجوان به مطالعه وارد شدند. میانگین نمره‌ی اضطراب در نوجوانان با اختلال شاخص توده‌ی بدنی به طور معنی‌داری بیشتر از نوجوانان طبیعی بود (1/37 در مقابل 1/31) (001/0>P). هم‌چنین میانگین نمره‌ی افسردگی در نوجوانان با اختلال شاخص توده‌ی بدنی به طور معنی‌داری بیشتر از نوجوانان طبیعی بود (3/14در مقابل 49/5) (001/0>P).  نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که بین وجود اضطراب و افسردگی و اختلال شاخص توده‌ی بدنی در نوجوانان، ارتباط معنی‌داری وجود داشته است و اختلال شاخص توده‌ی بدنی بر اضطراب و افسردگی نوجوانان، موثر است.}, keywords_fa = {افسردگی,اضطراب,شاخص توده‌ی بدنی,نوجوانان}, url = {https://jfmh.mums.ac.ir/article_7810.html}, eprint = {https://jfmh.mums.ac.ir/article_7810_9fe848fcc723765f7430ceef32d7ffb9.pdf} }
