Studies have introduced cognitive rigidity as a common risk factor for both disorders. This study aimed to investigate and compare the cognitive rigidity profile in patients with OCD and MDD. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive causal-comparative study. The participants were selected among who referred to Bozorgmehr Clinic in Tabriz city, Iran, in 2019 based on the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for OCD and MDD by using convenience sampling. A total of forty-five cases were selected and assigned to three equal groups. Research instrument included General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28),  Maudsley Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory (MOCI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), and the computer-based task-switching test, working memory test, and the Stroop Color and Word Test (SCWT), which are related to cognitive rigidity. The data were statistically analyzed by using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) in SPSS-16. Results:The results showed that MDD and OCD patients had more errors in the task-switching test than healthy individuals as the control group (p < /em>=0.043). In addition the response time in the task-switching test was longer in MDD and OCD patients than in controls (p < /em>=0.007). The control group outperformed both OCD and MDD patients in the working memory test. The results also indicated that MDD and OCD patients had more errors and obtained higher scores on the response time in the SCWT compared to the control group (p < /em>=0.003). Conclusion: The results suggested that patients with MDD and OCD were similar to each other but significantly different from healthy individuals in cognitive rigidity profile. lar to each other but significantly different from control group in terms of cognitive rigidity profile.}, keywords = {Cognition,Executive functions,Obsessive-compulsive disorder,Major depressive disorder}, title_fa = {مقایسه نیمرخ انعطاف ناپذیری شناختی در بیماران اختلال وسواسی-اجباری، افسردگی اساسی و گروه سالم}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: اختلال وسواس-اجباری (OCD) و اختلال افسردگی اساسی (MDD) از جمله اختلالات بسیار ناتوان کننده هستند که معمولاً به درمان مادام العمر نیاز دارند. مطالعات، انعطاف ناپذیری شناختی را به عنوان یک عامل خطر مشترک برای هر دو اختلال معرفی کرده اند. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی و مقایسه مشخصات انعطاف ناپذیری شناختی در بیماران مبتلا به OCD و MDD انجام شد.روش شناسی: این یک مطالعه علی-مقایسه ای توصیفی است که شرکت کنندگان از بین افراد مراجعه کننده در سال 2019 به کلینیک بزرگمهر تبریز بر اساس معیارهای تشخیصی DSM-5 برای OCD و MDD با استفاده از نمونه گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند. در مجموع 45 نفر به عنوان شرکت کننده انتخاب و به سه گروه 15 نفره تقسیم شدند. سپس آنها از آزمون تعویض وظیفه ای مبتنی بر رایانه ، تست حافظه فعال و تست رنگ و کلمه Stroop (SCWT) ، که مربوط به انعطاف ناپذیری شناختی است ، استفاده کردند. داده ها با استفاده از تحلیل واریانس چند متغیره (MANOVA) در SPSS-16 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل آماری قرار گرفت.یافته ها: نتایج نشان داد که بیماران MDD و OCD نسبت به افراد عادی خطای بیشتری در آزمون تغییر وظیفه داشتند (043 /0 = p). علاوه بر این ، زمان پاسخ در آزمون تغییر کار در بیماران MDD و OCD نسبت به گروه کنترل بیشتر بود (007/0 p =). گروه کنترل در تست حافظه فعال از بیماران OCD و MDD بهتر عمل کرد. نتایج همچنین نشان داد که بیماران MDD و OCD خطاهای بیشتری داشتند و در زمان پاسخ در SCWT نمرات بالاتری نسبت به گروه کنترل کسب کردند (003 /0 = P).نتیجه گیری: نتایج مطالعه نشان داد که بیماران مبتلا به MDD و OCD مشابه یکدیگر بودند اما از نظر مشخصات انعطاف ناپذیری شناختی با گروه کنترل تفاوت معناداری داشتند.}, keywords_fa = {اختلال افسردگی اساسی,اختلال وسواسی-اجباری,شناخت,عملکرد اجرایی}, url = {https://jfmh.mums.ac.ir/article_18540.html}, eprint = {https://jfmh.mums.ac.ir/article_18540_c5aded1864ebc9e20eaa2b818554cacb.pdf} }
