مراقبه در فرهنگ اسلامی و در غرب ‏

چکیده

مراقبه در فرهنگ غرب، نوعی تمرین برای تمرکز حواس با هدف رسیدن به آرامش یا پیشرفت معنوی و در اخلاق و عرفان اسلامی به معنای پاک‌سازی خود برای رسیدن به خدا است.
بر اساس پژوهش‌های صورت گرفته، مراقبه می‌تواند از نظر فیزیکی تغییراتی در ساختار مغز از جمله هیپوکامپ و بخش‌هایی از ساقه‌ی مغز ایجاد نماید که با در نظر گرفتن عملکرد این قسمت‌ها، عملکرد مثبت مراقبه در بهبود یادگیری، حافظه، کنترل هیجانی، ساخت نورون‌های جدید، اختلالات اضطرابی، اختلالات خلقی و خواب، محتمل است. بر اساس عوامل فرهنگی و مذهبی کشور ما، به‌کارگیری مراقبه می‌تواند در کاهش نشانه‌های بعضی اختلالات روان‌پزشکی و بهبود سلامت روانی افراد جامعه موثر واقع شود.
