Depression is a combination of feelings of sadness, loneliness, irritability, worthlessness, hopelessness. Researchers repeatedly have supported the association between dimensions of temperament and character with depressive disorder. The aim of the current study was to evaluate and compares dimensions of temperament and characterin individuals with and without depressive disorder. Materials and Methods: The statistical population of this cross-sectional study in 2011 included all individuals with major depressive disorder aged 24-30 who were referred to clinical center in Ardabil city, as well as the normal population of non-depressive individuals. Participants were 70 persons with major depressive, and 61 non-depressive persons. They were asked to complete demographic questionnaires, Beck depression inventory, and Cloningers temperament and character inventory. The data were analyzed by MANOVA and T multivariate regression using SPSS software version 16.  Results: Depressive individuals have significantly of novelty seeking, harm avoidance and self–transcendence; while, the patients had lower scores mean of persistence, cooperativeness and self-directedness than non-anxious group (P<0.001). Also, multiple regression analysis results showed that dimensions of temperament and character significantly explain 34 percents of the variance of depressive individuals.  Conclusion: It was a significant relationship between temperament and character. Also, the findings suggest that dimensions of temperament and character are variables that influence the severity of depression symptoms.    }, keywords = {Character,Depression,Normal,Temperament}, title_fa = {مقایسه ی سرشت و منش بیماران افسرده و افراد بهنجار}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: افسردگی یکی از شایع‌ترین اختلالات روانی در تمام فرهنگ‌ها است.افسردگی، ترکیبی از احساس غمگینی، تنهایی، تحریک‌پذیری، بی‌ارزشی و ناامیدی را به همراه دارد و محققان، به‌طور مکرر از ارتباط بین سرشت و منش با افسردگی حمایت کرده‌اند. هدف پژوهش حاضر، مقایسه‌ی ابعاد سرشت و منش در بیماران  افسرده و  افراد بهنجار بود. روش‌ کار: جامعه ‌ی آماری این پژوهش مقطعی در سال 1391، تمام مبتلایان به افسردگی اساسی در دامنه‌ی سنی 30ـ24 سال مراجعه‌کننده به مراکز بالینی شهر اردبیل و جامعه‌ی بهنجار افراد غیر افسرده بودند. آزمودنی‌ها 70 فرد مبتلا به افسردگی اساسی و 61 نفر بهنجار بودند که پرسش‌نامه‌های جمعیت‌شناختی، افسردگی بک و سرشت و منش کلونینجر را تکمیل کردند. اطلاعات با آزمون‌های تحلیل واریانس چند متغیری و رگرسیون چندگانه با استفاده از نرم‌ افزار SPSS نسخه‌ی 16 تحلیل گردیدند. یافته ‌ها: افراد افسرده نسبت به گروه بهنجار، به‌طور معنی‌داری از نوجویی، آسیب‌پرهیزی و خودفراروی بیشتر و همکاری، خودراهبری و پشتکار کمتری برخوردارند (001/0>P). هم‌چنین نتایج تحلیل رگرسیون چندگانه  نشان داد که 34 درصد از واریانس علایم افسردگی توسط ابعاد سرشت و منش پیش بینی می‌شود.  نتیجه‌ گیری: بین سرشت و منش با افسردگی، رابطه‌ی معنی‌داری وجود دارد و ابعاد سرشت و منش از متغیرهای تاثیرگذار در شدت نشانه‌های افسردگی است.}, keywords_fa = {افسردگی,بهنجار,سرشت,منش}, url = {https://jfmh.mums.ac.ir/article_4496.html}, eprint = {https://jfmh.mums.ac.ir/article_4496_746e8b582f9140c0772fe9c707a79c1e.pdf} }
